8:30 am Contemplative Communion Service (Taize)
Taizé Service begins at 8:30 am. Taizé is a style of worship that originated at an ecumenical monastery in Taize, France after WWII. It is a quiet, meditative service with repetitive chanting songs, prayers, guided meditation and communion. It has attracted visitors who just come for Taizé, members and friends of the church for whom and early service fits better in their schedule and some people who come to both the early Taize service and the 10 am service as well. Older children who are interested in contemplative worship are welcome. Child care is available for younger children.

10:00 am Worship, Christian Education Sunday School and Child Care
During Advent and Lent, our choir sings for every service. At other times, soloists and ensembles offer diverse music for the services. Hymns are accompanied on piano and organ by the talented Kathy Rinehart. Services include a musical meditation sung by our choir, the many talented musicians within the congregation, or by special invited guests musicians.

On the first Sunday of the month, we serve communion. At the United Church of Christ, we have an open table of communion, which is open to all who follow Jesus and want to be more connected to God.
