CUCC is a welcoming community of spiritual seekers, with an ever-evolving progressive view of the Holy, that is actively engaged in building a world with justice for all creation and part of how we do live this out is an ongoing commitment to showing up. We show up one another, for ourselves, for the earth and for a world with more justice and love. We have opportunities to connect for fun and for spiritual growth and as well as opportunities to volunteer that are both longer term higher commitments as well as chances to show up once and share your time.

“BEYOND BARS”
A mixed media installation by Boulder artist Rod Swanstrom is up. It depicts the record number of deaths of detainees in ICE custody in 2025. The individual totems in this installation symbolize the individuals who died. The shiny aluminum shaped columns are designed to create dimension and reflect light. The unique set of wings for each named totem represents the transcending nature of a spiritual life after death, and the hope of a better place for the detainees who lost their lives. CUCC’s Social Justice Group and Rod hope to convey a sense of awareness, and evoke change that can happen through state, local, and community efforts for people of the USA who believe we all are God’s people and immigrants seeking asylum deserve a fair and free life.
Recovery Cafe
Since June 2025, we have been engaged in a collaborative effort welcoming Recovery Café Longmont to CUCC every Wednesday evening. From 5-8 p.m. we meeting, starting with puzzles, socializing, coloring and more and then share a meal, followed by Recovery Circles. This is a community effort!
