Facilities Use FAQs
What spaces are available for use?
The Fellowship Hall (1200 sq ft) and Sanctuary (1267 sq ft) are booked together. Our outdoor patio is also available.
Our Fellowship Hall has plenty of room to spread out and connect with friends. This space has been home to dances, receptions, workshops, larger meetings, and retreats
This quiet, contemplative space is perfect for meetings, recitals, and religious services. The piano is available for use. Read more about this in the amenities section.
This space works well for outdoor events, or as an additional gathering location for events also using the church’s indoor rooms.
The labyrinth is open to the community. If you are a larger group (10+) and/or would like access to CUCC’s restrooms, please contact the office to schedule your use.
What types of events do you/have you hosted?
Groups have held meetings of all kinds, recitals, workshops, religious services, memorials, weddings, and parties/receptions.
How many people can attend?
Due to COVID 19, we are currently limiting the capacity of the Sanctuary to 60 people and the Fellowship Hall to 40 people, for a total of no more than 100 people per event. Our outdoor patio has a capacity of 50 people. Please note that we will follow any new restrictions from the Boulder County Health Department regarding capacity.
CUCC assumes no liability for COVID 19 infections due to the event. The hosting organization needs to apply their own restrictions based on those attending and the current community COVID situation.
Is my preferred date available?
You can check availability using our online calendar. Every effort is made to keep the calendar up to date, but you will need to confirm a final date and time with our office administrator when booking your event.
What does it cost to use space at the church?
Please refer to our Fee Schedule for building use.
What amenities do you offer?
The AV system includes a HDMI connected large screen TV and sound bar that is suitable for presentations or videos. This system does not utilize or require the sound system.
A CUCC person must be hired to run the sound system. Coordinate this with the office.
We have a cover for the summer months, and heaters for the winter season.
We have multiple in the Fellowship hall and sanctuary.
Our kitchen includes a microwave, oven, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space. We ask that you bring your own dishes and utensils.
The piano is available for use. We have a few simple guidelines to follow, and need to know the name of the pianist.
Variety of Tables and Chairs
Contact the office for a specific count of chairs or tables. The layout of the fellowship hall may be changed, as long as all furniture is moved back to its original place at the conclusion of the event.
Newly Remodeled Restrooms
We have two unisex bathrooms that were remodeled in the summer of 2021.
Can I take a tour of the church?
Yes! Call or email the office to schedule a tour.
What paperwork will I need to complete?
We require the event organizer to complete our facility use agreement. In addition, each person that attends the event will need to complete our Covid waiver. Copies of each of these will be provided to you.
Can I serve alcohol?
Beer and wine may be served. Our full alcohol policy can be viewed here.
