We gather regularly to do good in the world! From planting seeds with Boulder County Open Space to helping restore CalWood or building a home with Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, we are a group of do-ers. To join us, contact the office!

Do you need a meal after surgery or a ride to worship?  We are actively a part of caring for one another and one of the tools we use is Lotsa Helping Hands, a website to support one another. As part of our commitment to a just world for all, we are actively engaged in the lifelong work of dismantling racism and our participation in white supremacy. We meet regularly and have taken actions beyond reading books, like hosting a forum on racial justice for Boulder City Council candidates and hosting a screening of This is (Not) Who We Are.  Every Friday from 7-9 a.m. or so, men of all different backgrounds and beliefs gather to eat bagels and connect around a variety of topics. The group gathers in the CUCC Fellowship Hall. There is no need to RSVP. For more information, email the office. 

Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 for Breathing Space, which is a time to deepen your contemplative practice. Our 20 minutes together on Zoom includes short readings, meditation/silence and fellowship at the end for those who are interested. Come as you are!

After a massacre at our local grocery store in March of 2021 we took action beyond thoughts and prayers and held one of the first gun buyback events hosted by a faith community where we received unwanted firearms and chopped them up, turning them into tools and jewelry in the spirit of Isaiah 2:4 “God shall judge between the nations, and shall decide for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war anymore.” Learn more by reaching out to the office.

Our congregation is committed to healing the earth and mitigating climate change. We have solar panels, a commitment to compostable products, and a garden. To get involved, reach out to the office!

The purpose of the small group ministry is connecting with one another for support and community and being a part of one another’s spiritual journeys on a deeper level. The groups are made up of 5-9 people and are convened by a leader that meets with other Small Group Leaders for support and resourcing. Small Group Ministries have “open enrollment” once or twice a year as the group operates around an and agreed upon covenant. The season is usually from September-December, taking a break in January and then meeting from February-May or June, taking sabbath in July and/or August. To sign up for a group, click here.
