Intergenerational, Multi-Sensory Ash Wednesday: Fasting from Injustice


 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?” - Isaiah 58:6

As people sit at the tables, they will be invited to write down on sticky notes whatever it is they feel they need to fast from. (Sheila will generate a list of ideas to hand out.)

People will be invited to move into the sanctuary to sing and center.
