Nurtured by Nature

In the free flowing river
He was baptized

In the wilderness
The angels ministered to him

On a high mountaintop
He was transfigured

In the quiet of Creation
He was nurtured by nature

By the shore
He fed the multitudes

From the mount
He taught of love and forgiveness

On the plain
He blessed and healed the broken

In the garden
His heart opened wide

From the wooded mount
His spirit ascended

By the cool mountain stream
His blessings flow on

In the quiet of creation
We meet Him

We are with the One,
