Our pastor, Reverend Dr. Pete Terpenning, is warm, friendly and intelligent. His sermons blend history and scholarship from Christianity and other faith traditions, including Taoism, Buddhism and Celtic spirituality. Rev. Terpenning brings to the pulpit his knowledge of diverse faiths from studying comparative religions at Duke Divinity School.

His personal anecdotes and humor help convey messages that are both spiritually uplifting and motivating. Pete's warm and friendly personality makes him easy to talk and good at community building. Pete focuses on building community within the church, while living out his faith through his volunteer efforts for social justice and peace.
